The latest edition of the Aerodrome Manual can be found here. The manual contains details of the characteristics, policies and procedures for the safe operation at Gatwick Airport.
Gatwick Airport Directives (GADs)
GADs are issued on behalf of the airport's chief executive officer and provide information and guidance on procedures to be followed across all areas of the airport's operation.
We distribute all GADs to your company. If you have any questions about GADs or want your company to be added or removed from the distribution list, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
It is the responsibility of all employers to ensure that relevant Airport Directives are brought to the attention of their staff. However individuals remain responsible for their own actions and those who are in any doubt should consult their supervisor or manager.
Our maps our available to use on your mobile phone, tablet or desktop.
Operators briefing pack
To assist pilots this pack provides a complimentary briefing about Air Traffic Control operations at Gatwick Airport. It is supplemental information and does not replace or supersede the UK Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP). In the case of contradiction between this document and the AIP, the AIP should be adhered to.
Adverse weather plan
We have a contingency plan for adverse weather which covers all airside operations areas of responsibility including runways, taxiways, aprons, roads passenger walkways, grass areas and stands. The aim of the manual is to ensure that stable operations are maintained, as far as is realistic, in the event of disruptive adverse weather.
